All AP, all the time
Congratulations, dear boy!

AP has escaped the bonds of undergrad and is about to become one of the rest of us... welcome to the real world, kiddo. Hurry back to grad school as soon as you can. It's the happy place!

So, in honor of AP, I give him links to amuse:

Without the internet's ability to make the world a much cozier place, I never would have heard about (or seen) this, a salve for lonely souls. Those crazy Aussies; what will they come up with next?

And then there are the British. As it's your heritage, maybe you can explain this one... They give us Changing Rooms and Ground Force and Eastenders and So Graham Norton. So why am I still surprised to find The Big Read on the BBC? Or the reality show The Battle of the Books??? Crazy limeys.

Most vegetarians I know are all about being in-tune with their bodies. Are you this in-tune with your self? It was at Tribune Plaza a few weeks ago but I didn't get very close. Did you? (I consider anything labeled "The Colossal Colon" in 250-pt font to be avoided.)(Especially on the street.)

Go read about the nicest person in show biz. I'm serious. He's nice! And watch his show on E! He's just so... normal. And funny. And normal.

On the other hand, if that doesn't do it for you, check Tucker out and read all about a man missing both an internal filter and any pride. But, oh, the stories. He might be an ass, but he's a damn funny ass! He used to haunt Lincoln Park, but now he's Austin's problem.

Last but not least: feeling like you need some time off from the human race? Permission granted. Wouldn't life be hell if you were a social avoidant Siamese twin.

~~~~~
A personal aside: Yeah. The entire first 2/3 of what he said. Now, if somebody would just PAY me to say it...
~~~~~

Personal aside, redux: Congratulations to Nadia and Jane for finishing long hard years of grad school! Your mothers are very proud...and so are your friends.
